Everyone knows the farms in this country are suffering. This drought is a natural disaster.
The farmers themselves, the animals, the land, the families, towns and schools, are all suffering. These people are our livelihood, and a 70% increase in farmers mental health problems is tragic. Suicide rates in rural areas are consistently 40 per cent higher than the rates in metropolitan areas.
