My close friend, my family friend, my fabulous bright Brazilian girl got sick. She's got a thyroid cancer which was found just a few weeks ago in July. She is going to have a surgery on the 1st of August. The surgery will be complex as it is close to her vocal cords and expensive ($11,000). The doctors, exams, biopsy etc will probably double that amount. She came back to Australia just over a year ago. She doesn't have family here. We are the family. She has just started her job and doesn't have much of funds. Please help!
