Today, only one third of women diagnosed will survive past 5 years. It's a terrifying statistic.
For the past 4 years, I have seen what this disease can do to one’s body, family and life - it turns it upside down. The pain, surgeries, hospital stays, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and time away from family and friends is so unfair.
