Thanks for visiting my Sleepout for Soul Fundraising Page!!

Soul Cafe is a local, non-government funded charity, who with the support of over 130 volunteers, provide hundreds of free sit down and take away meals each week to the vulnerable and marginalised members of our community.

Many of Soul Cafe’s guests are dealing with issues of homelessness, poverty, drug or alcohol addiction, crime or violence, separation, mental health or illness concerns and accommodation needs.

Soul Cafe is a community response to a community need.

Soul Cafe

Soul Cafe comes under the umbrella of Lifeshapers Family Services, providing hundreds of free meals a week to disadvantaged members of the Newcastle community. The meals provided are an avenue to provide services and support beyond just the meal.

Well done Leah that's a great cause and yep, there but by the grace of whatever has saved us from poverty, addiction, homelessness, domestic violence these people have had to contend with go us all. It's a fine line between a warm bed and the streets and it's finer than most people realise. I'm always grateful when I'm tucked into mine. Sorry, bit of a rant, but I get it, and thanks for freezing for the cause.
