Instead of gifts this campaign will let people donate to Communities@Work which is is a social enterprise serving the community in the ACT and wider capital region, on the occasion of celebrating the first birthday of Samuel Boban On 24th February 2018.
Communities@Work supports thousands of people in the Canberra community every year - the vulnerable and disadvantaged, low income families, the homeless, women and children fleeing domestic violence, at-risk youth, the frail aged and people with disabilities. Importantly, we do more than just provide people in need with a ‘hand-out’......we are also focused on giving them a ‘hand-up’ so that they are empowered to create better futures. Communities@Work is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and gifts of two dollars or more are tax deductible.
Funds donated to the My cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Communities@Work. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
