13 Year Old Tamlin needs your support to fight a serious but rare Cancer

Around November 2015 we noticed a bruise like swelling on my daughter’s calf. Fast forward to February 16 and we were told it wouldn’t be cancer and we will watch and see. November 2016 the surgeon decided to operate as it still hadn’t healed. Dr said he had no idea what it was but not to worry it was all good. 17 February 2017 my now 13yr banged her lump walking up the stairs causing it to rupture. 19 Feb it was operated on leaving what looked like a zombie bite on her leg. 24 Feb we were informed it was in fact cancer but not too sure what kind. We waited another 5 days to be informed that our daughter has BPDCN (Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm).

She is the only child in Australia with this cancer. The last child in QLD was 9 years ago and sadly it wasn't a positive outcome. Only other child we can locate alive is in the US. The other two sadly passed away. This rare cancer is aggressive and only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant. We need to focus on our daughter and want to get her into a stress-free environment that is stable. Unfortunately, living expensives continue to come in but the budget can only go so far.
