About

Who are we?

This is the history of a boy who grew up in the third world country, Cameroon and who has the chance to provide a bit to those who do not have the basic needs.
I am living in Australia today, after being in France and England for few years but I did not forget where I came from and how life is for those I left behind me. I have taken the initiative to create this fundraise in order to show my gratefulness towards my people back home and towards the Australian and Western community. With a firm hand of each of all I believe we will make an unforgiven deed to those in need. Back in Cameroon, people wonder ” what is our government doing for us”; today I want to turn back that question to our generation, what are we doing for Cameroon. I do not only want to prove them wrong that we can all do a little something for our country in a way or another but I want to show them that anything done with love and faith will always prosper. At this stage of my life I can only support few members of my community and I believe it is a start.
A Cameroonian’s idiom says, “you need two hands to be able to wrap a parcel”. This simply means, unifying we are stronger. I cannot do this without you and I have to admit it without shame.
We are the KUITEWOK, fundraise (meaning help us in a Cameroonian dialect called “Ghomala”) a fund raise that has the aims to:

? Provide help to local orphanages in the West Cameroon for a start
? Building of fountains in the most remote places

This project of bringing our help to orphanages and to build water pumps has been thought seven years ago; however I have never had the idea where to start and how to get there. Being a faithful person, the call to do so has grown stronger and stronger throughout this year 2016; however I cannot emphasize enough that cannot be done by my own will.
Why orphanage and fountains?

? Why orphanages?

Growing up with a single parent it had not been easy for me so I imagine what those kids without any parents can go through. Growing up with insufficient love and lack of basic needs for living must be a challenge for them too. That is why we believe we can help to fill a little gap in that situation.

? Why building fountains?

When I was going to my village for holidays or to help my grandparents in their farms, I still remember we were drinking water from river. That same water was used for doing our washings and for showering. We believe that implementing this project will help to reduce cholera, typhoid and dysentery that I have seen fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters died from them.

Please help us help them. Without you it cannot certainly be the same.
