Seat for my son who has cerebral palsy

I wish to raise funds to get my son Greig, who has severe athetoid cerebral palsy, a Leckey Comfee seat. There isn't a similar product available in Australia or the Asia Pacific region. I could not buy one on line as he needed to be present to get assessed by a occupational therapist and get fitted for the seat as they are made to suit individuals. However, after hearing our story the company has come on board and are willing to coordinate measurements and let us buy one and get it shipped. They have even offered us a 20% discount. Hence the fund has now come down from 25,000 to 8,000!
He only has a wheelchair and becomes distressed if he has to sit in it for long periods. Most days he has to sit in it for close to 12 hours. He suffers from medical conditions, digestive & bowel problems. It's uncomfortable and causes pressure pain. Having the chair will greatly improve his health and quality of life. It will also help prevent deterioration of his posture and improve his quality of life through better participation in family gatherings, etc.
