Team Lisa fights Breast Cancer

Lisa is a single mum of four incredible kids and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her and I have been friends our whole lives and I am making this page because I love her to bits. Lisa cared for her mum through pancreatic cancer and her mother's subsequent death and whilst Lisa's diagnosis has a good prognosis, it has caused her a huge financial strain. I want to help in every way to relieve the financial pressure associated with medical/ treatment expenses so she can just focus on getting well and taking care of her 4 children - so please join me with your support.

I remember growing up in her family home, always full of kids playing, laughing and sharing meals. All Lisa ever wanted was to have her own children grow up in the same kind of loving and full household that she was so lucky to experience as a child. She always dreamt of a big family and now has Indi who is 12, Chase is 11, Pepper just turned 5 and Capri 3-years-old. Her kids are the most adorable, well-behaved beautiful children and Lisa is a wonderful mother.

According to her kids “Our mum is our whole world. We want her Always and Forever." "We wanted to sell (and eat) Freddo Frogs to help raise money but mummy’s friend said this was a better idea.”

Lisa shaved her long blonde locks before starting her chemotherapy. She didn't want her hair to just fall out when it could be made into a wig and donated to someone else in a similar circumstance - that's just the kind of amazing woman she is. Despite good support from family and friends I decided to set up this page to help relieve Lisa and her children of the unexpected financial strain her illness has posed on her and to help her receive the best medical attention and have the opportunity for the best possible outcome for treatment and medication.
