As part of my Year 6 school passion project, I have chosen to raise money for and awareness of endangered Australian animals, in particular, the Mountain Pygmy Possum. This beautiful creature is rapidly declining in numbers due to loss of natural habitat. I will be completing a 20.15km bush walk through the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on 6 June 2015 to raise funds for this worthy cause. My goal is to raise $2,015.00 by 19 June 2015. I would greatly appreciate any donations that my family, friends and fellow animal lovers can provide to support my Pygmy Possum Passion Project. I have chosen to donate all monies raised to the World Wildlife Fund Australia (WWF). By subscribing to my blog (gemmas2100.edublogs.org) you can monitor my progress. I'm excited about making a difference in our world. The future of the Pygmy Possum is in your hands!
