The Great Southern Pram Push is a fun day out for families, friends, colleagues and those wanting to support Hobart City Mission’s Small Steps Program and have a great time doing it.
There will also be children’s activities, entertainment, with food and drinks available.
The Cause……….
The Small Steps program provides supported accommodation and targeted training and development for young mums and their babies. The primary aim of this program is to prevent babies and young children being removed into State Care due to a lack of appropriate support or accommodation for their mum.
Since opening in June 2014 12 babies and children have been able to remain in their mum’s care as a result of residing in the Small Steps program.
This program receives no government funding and relies entirely on Hobart City Mission’s philanthropic and grant income.
Help us change the lives of young mums and their babies in our local community.
