Joondalup Schools P&C Colour Run!

Our event will be on Thursday 9 November from 1:45pm - 3:00pm

On Thursday 9 November Joondalup Schools P&C will host our annual Colour Run! This year the school is heading in a fun and new direction with this event. We are keeping the running of this event internal and incorporating more fun activities on the day for kids to participate in. This means 100% of profits raised through your fundraising efforts will be kept and spent on our schools!

The important stuff:

When: Thursday 9 November 2023, from 1:45pm - 3:00pm.

Where: Joondalup Schools oval

What to wear: Participants should wear white clothes that can be covered in powder head to toe! If your child does NOT want to be splashed with powder – please wear a black t-shirt and they can still join in!

Fundraising: Fundraising is easy! Simply hit 'Join the Event' below and ask family, friends, neighbours, anyone for donations by sharing your page link or collect cash donations and return the money to the school. Or do BOTH!

CASH: All cash donations must be delivered to the school by FRIDAY 3 November 2023. Please complete and enclose the slip at the top of the letter sent home in week one Term 4. If you misplace it, just send the money into class with student name, room number and total amount enclosed.

ONLINE: Simply register below via 'Join the Event'. Once your child/children are registered, use the quick and easy templates in your child's page to send emails or share your page via social media. Online donations close 11:30pm TUESDAY 7 November 2023.

Prizes: Please note as we are not using Fundraising Australia this year, there will not be a selection of prizes to choose from based on your fundraising amount. However, everyone who raises over $50 will go in the draw to win a prize. Thanks to our local MP - Emily Hamilton MLA, we have a $300 Bike Force voucher and plenty of other prizes thanks to generous local sponsors such as Flip Out, Botanic Golf and PowerPlay. We also have a foam canon on the day and a dunking machine, so the highest fundraiser per class will get the chance to have a go at ‘dunking’ a teacher!

Is the powder safe? The non-toxic colour powder is made of high-quality corn starch and permitted food colours, so it’s safe for skin and eyes. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate. Make sure students are wearing clothes that can be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe!

Thankyou in advance for your support, and happy fundraising!
