This year due to the uncertainty of holding a mass participation event the Pat Cronin Foundation Be Wise Walk 2021 will again be held as a virtual event following on from the success of our 2020 Be Wise Walk to Anywhere concept.

In 2020 our supporters combined to walk a collective 17,000 kms which is a complete lap around Australia so how far can we go this year? Pat spent some time in Year 11 visiting Imperia in Italy and that is 16,362 kms away so maybe we can combine with a dream to make it to Imperia?

The Pat Cronin Foundation encourages all participants to follow up to date government health guidelines.

The Pat Cronin Foundation Be Wise Walk 2021 will see registered participants choose the day (or days) of the week (from Monday the 15th of November 2021 until Sunday the 21st of November 2021) to complete a Walk to Anywhere of any distance in a safe environment by themselves or in their family group (in line with Government guidelines).

We will create an online atmosphere that will rival that created by the many hundreds of supporters who have joined us for the 8km Be Wise Walk to the Valley in past years from Heidelberg to Pat’s beloved Lower Plenty Football Ground.

This year’s event will again give everyone something very positive to focus on in a year of otherwise bad news. With last year’s Be Wise Walk to Anywhere we ended up with walkers in every state in Australia as well as walkers overseas.

Registrations are now open so sign up before 31 October 2021 to be guaranteed an event T-Shirt (postage included) and let us know how many kilometres you will walk this year.
