Join our MISSION and walk a day for all those affected by this horrible disease.

We are finishing on the first weekend of summer to raise awareness on living a sun safe lifestyle and getting regular checks.

The 6 full-time 10 day walkers are Jay Allen, Greg Bond, Ashleigh Piek, Michelle Kitcheman, Kaylah Brown and Emma Page. "Sadly we have all been affected by melanoma and you can read how on our profiles, but this will not stop us walking!"

Starting in Canberra and finishing 333km at Government House Sydney where we will cross the finish line and be greeted by Her Excellency The Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC.

Join in and walk on some of the 10 days listed below. Please note you must register and we do have limited spots due to road requirements when walking, the full list of walk options are available when you register and below: (further information will be emailed to you with specific information when you sign up).

Join Jay Allen, Greg Bond, Ashleigh Piek, Michelle Kitcheman, Kaylah Brown and Emma Page

For JAY'S MISSION MELANOMA WALK starting November 25 in Canberra and finishing 333km 10 days later on December 4 to raise awareness and much needed funds for research and education. Select the day you wish to walk when you register.

Fundraise

Choose your own goal and let's work together to achieve it. Every dollar will assist us in hopefully finding the cure we all wish for and educating as many people as we can so they can aim to prevent melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancers.

Michelle Kitcheman

I’m doing The walk in November from Canberra to Sydney because I’m a stage 3 melanoma survivor and by sharing my story of my survival and my journey I can give others in a similar situation hope . 2016 / 2017 was the worst time in my life . I had 3 small children when I was diagnosed with melanoma. I spent my babies first Xmas in hospital having my lymph nodes removed after it was realised my primary melanoma had spread to my lymphatic system. I spent the entire 2017 having cancer treatment .

Greg Bond

I’m walking 333kms in honour of my sister in law Andrea Bond who sadly passed away to melanoma 4 years ago and left behind 4 children aged from 10-18 and a loving husband, my brother and best mate Scott. Any donations would be most appreciated and will help the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation find a cure for this horrible disease.

Emma Page

I was diagnosed at the age of 38. A partner, a mother of three, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a neighbour. I was one of the rare cases of having Stage III melanoma cancer without a primary. Yep, no primary. Straight into my lymphatic system.

Melanoma does not discriminate. Healthy and fit it took over my body without much warning.

Ashleigh Piek

I am walking from Canberra to Sydney in honour of my mum who I lost last year to melanoma. I know it will be tough, but I know what my mum went through was a lot harder. Join me as I walk in honour of a wonderful woman and raise awareness about getting a skin check.

Jay Allen

Since diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in 2008 I have lost many friends to melanoma, I'm still here and have to continue to raise awareness and funds to find a cure in their memory. Come and join me, let's put an end to melanoma.

Kaylah Brown

In March 2022 I lost my brother Matt to Melanoma. I am from a family of 6 kids and for me, losing one of my siblings has always been one of my greatest fears. Now my fear is reality. The loss of my brother has truly impacted me. There isn’t a day that I don’t clench my jaw and fight back the tears.
