Background
Augusta State School opened on 24 January 2011 with a student population of just under 300. We currently have 25 classes ranging from four Prep classes to year 7. Our catchment includes Augustine Heights, Brookwater and a small area of Redbank Plains.
Facilities
Augusta is a ‘Triple P’ school. This means it is a Private Public Partnership school. Our school has been built, and our facilities maintained by a private company. The school has been leased back to Education Queensland. Our facilities include purpose built learning spaces including - Prep, Junior and Senior classrooms, music block, resource centre, Café, student support centre, design & technology block, amenities blocks and undercover areas.
