For many of our clients migration is a key influence on their life and most of them will have faced some - if not many - complex challenges. For some elderly people this includes the ongoing effects of experiences before migration.
This is the part of the Victorian community that we are most experienced in supporting, with care and expertise built up over thirty years.
The Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) exists to address the needs of elderly and disabled people and their carers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who experience social isolation, financial crisis or migration challenges.
We stand for respect, diversity and empowerment of our clients, staff and communities.
Your donation will enable us to give and expand our support to older people from multicultural communities who are experiencing isolation or financial hardship and assist them with regaining their independence.
