One aspect of Mental Health is that people, typically Men, do not reach out when they need support.  Unfortunately, in the last 12 months 3 of my friends have decided to take their own lives.

Mongrels Men helps build community, connection and conversation to encourage those in most need to speak up when they need to.

A Team of 10 are embarking on the 67km mountain bike ride, a section of the Old Convict Trail (100km) to raise money for Mongrels Men community work. 

Please support us whilst we train hard in preparation and on the actual race day. 
But be happy in the knowledge that we probably won't have trained hard enough to make the grueling race easy.

Last year, we raised over $1,600, this year hopefully even bigger.

Our dad, Paul Anderson (Ando) passed away in November 2024. 
He spent his life battling with mental illness and had a passion for fundraising to help others fighting the same fight 

My family alongside Moorefield Bowling Club are holding a fundraiser on the 16th of March at Moorefield Bowlo, Kogarah to raise money for Mongrels Men - a charity dedicated to improving men’s mental health. Their vision is to prevent, reduce and control the occurrence and impact of suicide and mental health illnesses and disorders impacting Australian men aged of 20 - 70. 

So please, donate what you can to this incredible cause. Every dollar helps Mongrels Men’s vision come to life.
