Atlantis Cat Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organisation dedicated to caring for, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens in need of a 'furever home'. We operate with the help of foster carers, volunteers and the generosity of our donors.

Established in 2020, Atlantis has grown from its humble beginnings in Craigieburn, rescuing strays from a hard life on suburban streets, to becoming a much-needed service that focuses on cats’ and kittens’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Atlantis cats and kittens are nurtured in a loving home environment to ensure they are house-trained and ready for a lifetime of play, cuddles and companionship for the ‘purrfect’ person or family!

We take in cats and kittens from council pounds or surrendered by owners who are no longer in a position to care for them anymore. We take the philosophy that we will never euthanise a cat or kitten who is capable of being rehomed, no matter how long it takes.

Atlantis Cat Rescue also aims to advocate for improvements in the treatment of cats, educate the community about cat welfare, and find new and innovative ways in which we can better support the welfare of our feline friends into the future.
