We believe in a world where every person is free from suffering caused by conflict and natural disasters. Across the world, we work with local communities so they can prepare for emergencies and respond fast to protect the most vulnerable people when disaster hits. We also lobby governments and decision-makers for positive action which promotes peace and supports people affected by conflict and disaster.
The Act Alliance
Act for Peace is a member of the ACT Alliance, a global network of more than 130 Christian faith organisations, all working together for change. The ACT Alliance is one of the world's largest and most effective networks of grassroots aid organisations and workers. By working closely with ACT Alliance's local partners, Act for Peace is able to respond immediately to emergency situations, wherever and whenever they hit.
Working with partners
Act for Peace works with local organisations to help deliver lasting change. To get support to those who need it most, we develop long-term partnerships with respected local organisations. This means we can deliver programs that are owned and designed by local communities. It also means we don't have to send aid indefinitely, or set up overseas offices. Ultimately, this helps ensure we invest your money wisely to deliver lasting change across the world. Read more.
