We recently lost our husband, dad, brother, and friend, Graeme Strong, to stage IV bowel cancer, and would like to do something meaningful in his memory. Bowel cancer affects so many people and their families, and we're hoping to raise funds to support research that can help with prevention, better treatment options and healing.

Hi my name is Michael Wilson and I’m 33 years old 

The 12th of April I’ve set myself a goal to run 100km’s around a 400 meter athletics track, in Bendigo this will be equal to 250 laps from lane 1 might mix laps up depending on how body traveling 

My goal is to raise money for Bowel Cancer as this is a cause that is near and dear to mine, and so many others hearts. 

After losing my beautiful Aunty Trisha to stage 4 bowel cancer in early 2024, I have felt the push to do what I can, to try to prevent other individuals and family’s to ever have to endure the same pain. Iv recently had my Pa diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer as well. 

The survival rate for stage 4 cancer is very low. And I know the pain I put myself through achieving this goal, will never be the same as what somebody battling cancer goes through.

I hope that what I’m doing can help make a difference, and help raise money for Bowel Cancer Australia.
