Assistance Dogs Australia

Assistance Dogs Australia breeds, trains and places incredible Assistance Dogs for people with disabilities enabling them to access inhanced inclusion and independance. 

 

Each Assistance Dog is trained for over two years, at a cost of over $60,000 and then placed free of charge to our clients. 

 

Every Assistance Dog undergoes tailored training to meet the individual needs of their new owner. We support people with physical disabilities, autism, post-traumatic stress.

 

As a registered charity, accredited by Assistance Dogs International, we’re committed to changing the lives of Australians, one dog at a time. We have over 230 Assistance Dogs placed accross Australia and we are looking to increase this number, through your generous support.
