Kids Giving Back is Australia’s leading not for profit organisation for student volunteering, offering school-aged students a diverse range of community experiences. We offer these experiences to children, teens, families, schools, community groups and corporations.
We deliver a ‘triple impact’ benefit on participants, charities & society.
We forge real connections between kids and community, creating the ‘Next Generation of Generosity’. Through volunteering, young people develop empathy and resilience, and are guided toward leading a purposeful life.
Through our diverse proprietary programs, Kids Giving Back assists over 99 charities.
We support causes such as homelessness and poverty, intergenerational understanding, the plight of refugees and disadvantaged communities.
We make it easy for schools, community groups and corporates to engage successfully with a wide range of charities through our end-to-end programs embracing civic engagement for young people. This includes on and off-site activities for ages 5 - 18.

Our philosophy
We strongly believe that when young people volunteer they develop respect, resilience, and leadership skills, as well as the ability and opportunity to positively engage in the wider community. Our philosophy embraces volunteering as a two-way street, giving children and their families an opportunity to change lives, including their own.
Our mission is to instill in young people and their family unit the beauty of giving to others, not just of material things but of time through real life experiences. We believe that when kids (together with their families and school peers) volunteer, we are developing our next generation of leaders and creating a culture of generosity and civic responsibility.
