WIRES, the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service has been rescuing and caring for native animals for over 35 years. Our mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same.
We have over 3500 volunteers in 28 branches involved in the rescue and care of wildlife and a dedicated Rescue Office that operates 24/7, 365 days a year assisting the community to help native animals by providing advice and rescue for native animals in distress.
