OUR FUNDING

Bass Coast Health receives substantial funding support from both the Commonwealth and State Governments to facilitate the delivery of exceptional care. This funding also extends to critical projects, such as the completion of the Phillip Island Health Hub and Stage 1 of the Wonthaggi Hospital Re-development. These initiatives aim to enhance our facilities, services, and overall capacity to better serve the needs of our community.

Our commitment to providing 24-hour patient care at the Phillip Island Health Hub's Urgent Care Centre necessitates the latest technology in both the emergency departments of Wonthaggi and Phillip Island sites. Currently, Stage 1 of the new hospital is underway and is scheduled for completion in 2023.
