Bush Heritage is a national non-profit organisation that protects Australia’s unique animals, plants and their habitats.

	We do this by buying and managing land of outstanding conservation value, and working in partnership with other landowners. We help protect native habitats on millions of hectares of the most ecologically important landscapes.

Hello, my name is Teeah! I am a 20 year-old uni student and wildlife volunteer. As a young woman with an intense passion for equity, I often find myself feeling overwhelmed and powerless in the face of the uncertain and frankly terrifying direction our country and our world is heading. I always strive to do my best for others and our planet, volunteering and donating where I can, but I still feel I need to do more.

In light of that, I’ve decided to shave my head, saying goodbye to my roughly 85cm of hair, and fundraise for some really amazing charities: Good Samaritans Foundation, Australian Wildlife Conservancy and Bush Heritage Australia.

I’ve done a lot of research to find which Australian charities would be most helpful and these three really stood out to me. You can read more about them below.

If you have some money to spare, even if it’s just $1, you can join my mission to raise $300 for these three incredible charities. The final funds will be going to the charities listed, split evenly, and no where else.

On the 1st of February, I will be shaving my head and donating the total amount raised to the charities listed, posting proof of donation and baldness here.

Good Samaritans Foundation supports a safe and sustainable future for women, children and families in need across Australia, the Philippines, Kiribati and Timor Leste.
