Friends With Dignity

Friends with Dignity is a national charity providing assistance to men, women and children who have been displaced by domestic violence.

Our dedicated team of volunteers work with referral agencies to turn houses into welcoming sanctuaries for people escaping domestic violence.  

Together we give people the dignity of a home to call their own.

What we do

Friends With Dignity Programs provide practical services to assist people who have escaped domestic violence to start their new journey, free from abuse.

Sanctuary Program
A safe and secure home is something most of us take for granted. We transform houses into sanctuaries for survivors to start their journey free from abuse with dignity.

Urgent Requests

When a Survivor of domestic violence leaves, they leave behind all that is familiar. This includes bare essentials that most of us take for granted. Urgent requests provide ‘one-off’ items to help make life a little easier for survivors of domestic violence.

Little Friends Program
The Little Friends Program ensures our next generation stand out for the right reasons by providing a helping hand with getting life ‘back to normal’ through the of funding uniforms, booklist costs, after-school sports activities and club memberships.

FriendSafe

Providing personal safety devices to individuals and/or families to ensure they have help at the touch of a button. These devices can be obtained through outright purchase, a lease agreement or through sponsorship
