About Musicians Making A Difference (MMAD)

	Musicians Making A Difference (MMAD) is an Australian charity that exists to transform young lives through music. MMAD uses the power of music & mentoring to inspire young people to overcome adversity & make their lives remarkable.

	We provide creative support to young people, (especially those who have suffered childhood abuse, neglect and disadvantage,) in overcoming challenges such as homelessness, destructive patterns of behaviour, mental health, exclusion from school, family breakdown, drug and alcohol dependency, unemployment and reoffending.

	Why Is MMAD Important?

	- Suicide is the leading cause of death for young Australian’s aged 15-25

	- There are 26,400 reports of child abuse and neglect every year

	- 27,680 young people are homeless on any given night
