Rizeup Australia is a community-driven organisation of passionate men and women, dedicated to supporting the brave families affected by domestic and family violence.

 

WHAT DOES RIZEUP DO?

We have created various programs to provide practical support and to empower the brave families via the specialist domestic and family violence organisations (for security reasons, we do not directly meet the families we support) – from helping to create a new home for victims fleeing a violent household and supporting children in their healing process, to raising much-needed funds for families left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

RizeUp relies on donations of cash, goods, services and gift vouchers from the community, businesses and foundations. No matter who you are, or where you are, we call on you to RizeUp with us and end this national epidemic for good.

RAPID RESPONSE

Designed to meet the diverse needs of families fleeing domestic violence (this could include food, blankets, urgent funds, etc.) quickly and efficiently.

HOMES PROGRAM

When families leave a refuge, they are given a barren property, which we transform into a purposefully-created home specific to their individual needs.

YOUTH ENRICHMENT SUPPORT SOLUTIONS

We support the family by providing items for children to start at their new school – uniforms, hair cuts, extra curricular activities, fees, lunch boxes, books and bags.

Our dedicated Events Team raise funds to support the needs of brave families fleeing domestic and family violence through our own special events or by assisting our supporters with independent fundraising.
