At The Cancer Council NSW we're dedicated to defeating cancer. Each day over 450 Australians are diagnosed with cancer. 3 years ago at 34 years of age, it happened to me. Fortunately I’m one of the lucky ones, as after 3 months of surgeries and chemotherapy I was declared cancer free and knock on wood, 3 years down the track this is still the case.

I’ve been very private about my battle but feel it’s time to find sufficient humility and appreciation for those who have helped me along the way by sharing my experience and giving a tiny bit back.

On December 15th 2024 I will be running 30km from Bulli to Wollongong and return (giving myself a much needed 3 months to prepare!) and ask of you to kindly donate a small amount to support this endeavour and my chosen charity.

I will be raising money for Cancer Council NSW. Your donation will go towards supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class research, developing and implementing prevention programs and working with government to achieve important policy changes to reduce cancer risk and save lives.
