Thousands raised to help families of domestic violence victims rebuild their lives

After the horrific week of domestic violence reported in Queensland, many people living in the sunshine state rallied around the victims and donated to crowdfunding pages for them.

One of these crowdfunding campaigns was for Maria Playford, the mother of little Sidney Playford who was killed by her father, Stephen Playford, while asleep in her bedroom.

The campaign asks for the public to help Maria and her Sidney’s sister, Juliette, in the aftermath of the horrific attack.
