Oli-Pizzey Stratford is a young man on a mission. A mission to wear the green and gold at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.
Oli was born with injuries to his spine and was given a grave diagnosis. Through surgery after surgery, Oli defied the odds and has blossomed into a young man full of life, hope and one goal in particular.
While Oli trains his hardest every week, the cost for a Paralympian to travel and buy suitable training and participation equipment isn't cheap. To give you an idea, a pair of runners for an able-bodied athlete costs $250, meanwhile, an athletics chair for Oli costs around $9K-$15K.
