After a horrific workplace accident, surfer Jade 'Red' Wheatley's legs were crushed and eventually amputated.
Jade is determined to live life to the full and will compete in the inaugural World Adaptive Surfing Champtionship in September.
"What surfing has done for me is insane — the fitness, both mentally and physically, the socialising — it's liberating," Says Jade in his interview with Surfing Life on July 30.
"Really, it's given me everything."
