How to Avoid Buying Boring Gifts this Christmas

How to Avoid Buying Boring Gifts this Christmas

Christmas time is when you gather with your family and friends and celebrate the relationships that you have with the most important people in your life. Despite how much you love these people, it can be pretty difficult to select thoughtful presents for them all. One of the best ways around this problem is to give them a donation Christmas card, or donate to their favourite charity in lieu of yet another shirt or box of chocolates.

For the Person Who Seemingly Has it All

Some people just seem to have (or immediately buy) everything that they want, which can make life rather frustrating when it comes to buying presents around Christmas time. Rather than purchasing a generic perfume or socks (no-one ever wants socks as a gift), help them make a positive contribution to the world via their own charity Christmas voucher

They will feel great because they get to help out a charity that they love and you will finally be able to get them something that they will use! Everyone wins.

As much as we all enjoy spending time with work colleagues and friends when we collaborate, it can be hard to know personal preferences well enough to actually buy them a good gift. Just avoid the stress and save yourself some time by purchasing a Christmas donation gift card or donation gift voucher. They will be surprised that you actually got them something thoughtful, rather than a chocolate Christmas tree (it happens) or novelty earrings.

Go Unwrapped

If you purchase the e-card or e-voucher, then you can print it out or just email it to the recipient. It is quick, easy and you won’t have to break the budget or try to wrap it up in some fancy wrapping paper. You can also get creative with the Christmas donation gift cards and customise your card using your own images or designs, or you can just stick to the fresh new mycause e-card designs.

Good Karma

Whenever you buy a gift card or donation gift voucher, you aren’t just ticking an item off your to-do list. You’re going to help someone you care about make a lasting impact on a charity that strives to make the world a better place, which is the true meaning of Christmas anyway. It’s your good deed for the day, done in a few minutes.
