Fijian – Wallaby Rugby Union star raises 7K plus

FIJIAN Wallaby Henry Speight has so far managed to raise more than $7000 in his quest to raise $10,000 for the Walk On Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji foundation.

This year, Speight made it clear that he was keen on raising funds for WOWS Kids Fiji as well as shaving his iconic afro in the name of charity.

Cancer Fundraising

"I'm raising much needed funds and awareness for the Walk On Walk Strong foundation back in Fiji. Walk On Walk Strong supports children with cancer and their families, through what will undoubtedly be one of the toughest periods of their life," Speight wrote on his fundraising page.

"For such a terrific cause, I'm looking to raise $10,000 — with the biggest donor earning the right to do the deed and shave my head. I'll even supply the clippers."

Speight explained that having lost his mother to cancer when he was no older than eight years, he was compelled to raise funds and awareness.

"So jump on social media and share this message and donate generously yourself to help us achieve our goals to make life easier for kids suffering from cancer through the WOWS foundation."
