Damon battles threat to life
Damon has had it harder than most kids his age - diagnosed in November last year with the life threatening, rare autoimmune disease, Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) - affecting only 2-3 children PER MILLION every year. Girls are twice more likely to get it than boys!
There is no research or support in Australia for this disease and there are no support groups
