Nanna, mum, friend diagnosed with rare cancer
When Carol Tyrrell suffered from a blocked nose and a slightly swollen nasal cavity, she assumed it was just her seasonal hay fever.
But as her nose continued to swell, she visited a doctor who referred her to three different ear, nose and throat specialists who initially thought she had broken her nose, before a biopsy confirmed she had a rapid, fast growing cancer.
