April has been in hospital since Easter morning after being hit by a car, which left April in a coma & on life support for over a week. All our prayers were answered and April woke up. The result of this tragic accident April now has a brain injury and a broke ankle which she had to have an operation on to put a plate & 6 screws in. April is being transferred to Liverpool Hospital to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. April's mother "Leonie" is a single mother of two who cares for her elderly father and her two beautiful daughters, Who lost her best friend only a few mths ago. Unfortunately Liverpool hospital are currently doing renovations and don't have any accommodation for her to stay in and needs to find somewhere to stay, Being a single mother she can't afford the accommodation or to travel up & back every day. I have been asked by a few members of the Berkeley community on how they can help, So I thought I'd do this page, I would love to be able to help pay for accommodation for my aunty in Liverpool so she can be with her girl 24/7, We do not know how long April will be in hospital for. If anyone would like to donate any amount to Aprils Recovery we would greatly appreciate it.
