近年，香港有很多特色小舖和半世紀的老字號、連鎖店、戲院甚至學校正在面臨倒閉的命運。2025年短短半年內已有至少23個連鎖餐飲品牌及知名食肆全線結業，其中包括冰皮月餅始祖大班西餅、陪伴街坊多年的傳統茶餐廳，以及承載集體回憶的酒樓。除了經濟環境，A.I. 開始走進人們的工作與生活，很多傳統工種被取代，令香港的傳統工藝和老店舖經營更加困難。
《港呢啲》希望藉著這個關於父子三代製造月餅的故事給大家反思如何與機械人共存，探討AI給人類帶來的好處和挑戰，提醒大家擁抱科技的同時也要珍惜傳統。《金仔和老餅舖》旨在鼓勵住在香港和現居海外的香港下一代，無論外在環境有多困難，只要有愛有信念，一定能夠突出重圍，終會創出自己一片天。

《金仔和老餅舖》大綱：
已經營了四十載的傳統老餅店，自從有A.I.機械人幫手後，月餅生產量激增，但同時也讓10歲的小主人金仔和他爸爸的關係逐漸疏遠了.... 究竟最後金仔怎樣重拾跟爸爸相處的時間呢？
另一邊廂，黃蓮月跟其他月餅說起舊時老餅店的美好時光，不禁淌下淚來... 究竟是甚麽改變令黃蓮月這樣傷心呢？
金仔和黃蓮月究竟能否對自己重拾信心令老餅店繼續於社區屹立不倒？一直本集舊式社區小舖、父子傳承和集體回憶於一身的故事繪本。
In recent years, many unique local shops, half-century-old brands, chain stores, cinemas, and even schools in Hong Kong have been facing closure. In just the first half of 2025, at least 23 chain restaurant brands and well-known eateries have shut down completely. These include the pioneer of snow-skin mooncakes, Taipan Bakery, long-standing neighborhood cha chaan tengs, and banquet-style restaurants that carry the collective memories of generations in Hong Kong. Besides the economic turmoil, the rise of A.I. in both work and daily life has replaced many traditional jobs, making it even more difficult for old crafts and heritage shops in Hong Kong to survive.
Cantopia (港呢啲) hopes to use this story — about three generations of a family making mooncakes — to inspire reflection on how humans can coexist with robots, explore the benefits and challenges brought by A.I., and remind people that while embracing technology, we must also cherish traditions. "Kam Chai and the Old Bakery" aims to encourage the next generation of Hongkongers, whether living in Hong Kong or overseas, that no matter how difficult the external environment is, with love and faith, they can sail through adversity and forge their own path.
All funds raised through this crowdfunding campaign will go directly towards the production and printing of the picture book. Story Outline:
A Hong Kong traditional old bakery, in operation for 40 years, sees a surge in mooncake production after the arrival of A.I. robot, Apollo. However, this also causes a growing distance between 10-year-old Kam Chai and his father… How will Kam Tsai eventually reconnect with his dad?
Meanwhile, a lotus seed paste mooncake can’t help but shed tears while reminiscing with other mooncakes about the bakery’s golden days … What changes in the bakery over the years have made her so heartbroken?
Can Kam Chai and lotus seed paste mooncake regain their confidence and help the old bakery continue to stand strong in the community? This heartfelt picture book is a tribute to traditional local neighborhood shops in Hong Kong, father-son bonding, and the collective memories of a bygone Hong Kong.
