Sunday 19th October 2014 - 10km run or 5km walk

The Rotary Club of Glen Eira, supported by BECK Property Group, the Caulfield Park Bendigo Community Bank, Melbourne Racing Club and David Southwick MP are hosting the Caulfield Racecourse Fun Run and Community Day on Sunday 19 October 2014.

The Caulfield Racecourse Run and Community Day takes place in the centre of iconic Caulfield Racecourse to raise money for local charities and community groups.

• The Caulfield Racecourse Run will consist of a 10km run with a 5km walk/run option for those wanting and easier pace.

• ?Both legs will kick off from 11:30am with registration from 10:00am.

• ?For Kids under 8 years, there will be a short sprint to the Winning Post prior to the main run - a gold coin donation on the day only.

So come along and experience a community day at the Caulfield Racecourse. Participate in the Caulfield Racecourse Run and raise funds for your local community group, school or charity. Enjoy rides and entertainment for both kids and adults.

* Remember to park on the inside of the track, close to the main stage and all the activities! *

10am - Gates Open (Drive in via Main Tunnel cnr Kambrook and Booran Roads)

10am-3pm BBQ, ice cold drinks, free children's activities

10am-11.30am - Collect your shirt number from the registration desk (late registrations available)

11.15am - Kids sprint to the Winning Post (gold coin donation)

11.20am - Runners assemble at Start

11.30am - Caulfield Racecourse Run commences (10km run, 5km walk)

1pm - Presentations

3pm - Close

Fete

There will also be a Community Fete on the day where you can purchase food, drinks and other items from local charities and community groups, where all proceeds go straight back into the organisations. There will also be music, entertainment and rides, including:

• giant slide
• pony rides
• arts & craft
• and more....

Community Groups

Charities, community groups, schools and clubs can register their organisation and create a team. Runners and Walkers can register and join the team of their favourite community organisation and get sponsored.

Online registrations close 6pm Saturday 18th October, but registrations can be made in person on the day at the registration desk from 10am.
